🎾Annual General Meeting 2024🎾

Thank you to all the members who attended the AGM, it was an excellent meeting and the wine and cripsts set a good atmosphere.

Many thanks to Trisha Esplin who has been Chair for 6 years and has steered the club through the challenges of covid, the great flood in the clubhouse and has ensured the club is in a good postion for the futre (and has a new kitchen).

The new Chair of the club is William Freeman who we all know will be excellent in this role. Tim Rumsey is the new club secretary and Richard Yaxley is taking on the committee role looking after the grounds.

The meeting voted on a subscription rate increase of 5%, this is the first subscription increase in two years.

Please note the fencing surrounding courts 3 and 4 will be replaced this spring, dates to be confirmed.

The Grove prides itself on being a friendly club and welcomes new members of all standards. Special coaching sessions are provided for both junior and adult beginners. Families are especially welcome with special membership rates available.

The Grove benefits from its own professional coaching team and provides year-round coaching for players of all ages and abilities. It offers excellent opportunities to play both competitive and social tennis and has a thriving junior membership.

We have a thriving social scene.  Apart from social tennis sessions on Tuesdays, Saturdays and bank holidays (more info here), we have several events per year for members and their guests.
